We are now accepting applications for: Service Sales Coordinator Greater New Orleans Area

DESCRIPTION

The Service Sales Coordinator schedules and organizes repairs on equipment by scheduling technicians according to technician abilities and customer needs. The Service Sales Coordinator will consult with customers and recommend various additional repairs that are needed and prepare quotes for repairs.

JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES may include, but are not limited to:

  1. Develop and maintain the sales/service relationship with customers through our service departments
  2. Coordinate work schedules for the service technicians
  3. Open, review, and close work orders
  4. Monitor work in progress and work closely with the parts, sales, and warranty departments
  5. Effectively communicate work performed and necessary changes to the customer and service representatives
  6. Convey information between sales, service, and customer efficiently

          EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university required. 2 years of relevant work history preferred. Strong mechanical background.

          LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports, procedures, and correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and other employees of the organization.

          MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Basic math skills including computing rates, ratios, averages, fractions, and percentages. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. 

          REASONING ABILITY

Demonstrate critical thinking in their ability to define complex problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Valid driver's license and good driving record.

JOB INFORMATION

The employee must be able to work extended work schedules, on call status, and some weekend rotations based on customer demands.

The employee must have the ability to reach and use the arms within a full range of motion in order to retrieve stocked parts.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes, or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and outside weather conditions. The employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, extreme cold, and extreme heat. The employee is occasionally exposed to risk of electrical shock and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
