DESCRIPTION

The Rental Branch Manager will manage the day to day operations of the location and will be expected to work closely with the General Rental Manager to provide the necessary expertise, oversight, and support needed to grow the rental business.

JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES may include, but are not limited to:

  1. Manage all branch operations to ensure productivity, customer service, and profitability
  2. Develop and maintain relationships with customers
  3. Maintain rental fleet and identify fleet needs
  4. Identify areas of improving the company's competitive position and maximize the profitability of the work location
  5. Assist in the hiring of the rental department personnel

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree in Business required. 3 to 5 years of sales or rental management required. Excellent understanding of the rental industry.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to be a team player who motivates and educates other team members. Ability to communicate effectively with customers and co-workers. Ability to read, interpret, and explain documents such as financial reports, legal and service agreements, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and effective correspondence for internal and external audiences. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Basic math skills including computing rates, ratios, averages, fractions, and percentages. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. 

REASONING ABILITY

Demonstrate critical thinking in their ability to define complex problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Must be able to develop routine protocols as well as identify when the routines do not apply in a specific situation and handle exceptions as needed. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

COMPUTER SKILLS

Solid computer skills including Microsoft Office suite,

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Valid driver's license and good driving record.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Manages branch employees. Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of this unit.

Up to 25%
