The Project Engineer will provide technical expertise for development, design and execution of projects. 

JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES may include, but are not limited to:

  1. Develop project objectives by reviewing proposals and plans.
  2. Define project responsibilities by identifying project phases and elements.
  3. Determine project specifications by designing specific fabrication arrangements for production piping and equipment.
  4. Ensure project meets customer requirements and performance standards.
  5. Perform technical studies and assist with cost estimates.
  6. Confirm product performance by designing and conducting tests.
  7. Maintain project schedule by monitoring project progress, quickly addressing and resolving issues when they arise.
  8. Assist in oversight and coordination of vendors to ensure compliance with project specifications, schedule and budget.
  9. Prepare project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to communicate effectively with customers and co-workers. Ability to write routine reports and effective correspondence for internal and external audiences. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.

 

COMPUTER SKILLS
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and other business software applications is required. AutoCAD proficiency is required.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Valid driver's license and good driving record is required.
