Heartland Compression Services is now accepting applications for Project Manager in Bossier City, Louisiana.

The role of the Project Manager is to interface daily with internal teams, customers, and vendors to ensure assigned project objectives are met safely, on schedule and within budget.  

JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES may include, but are not limited to:

  1. Review contract documents to ensure compliance with specifications, and appropriateness of special terms.
  2. Leverage internal and external resources to execute project on time and within budget.
  3. Select vendors and issue purchase orders based on quality, compliance with customer's specifications, pricing, and availability; Coordinate material deliveries and production scheduling, arrange shipping, and expedite as appropriate to meet schedule demands
  4. Ensure quality control; coordinate all onsite activities including manpower, subcontractors, testing, and inspections as applicable
  5. Investigate customer complaints, as required, to determine nature and extent of problem; Recommend remedial measures
  6. Use verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and/or cost.
  7. Responsible for profitable delivery of projects as estimated

Bachelor's degree required. 3-5 years project management experience in related industry preferred.

Ability to communicate effectively with customers and co-workers. Ability to write routine reports and effective correspondence for internal and external audiences. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.

Basic math skills including computing rates, ratios, averages, fractions, and percentages. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. 

Demonstrate critical thinking in their ability to define complex problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Must be able to develop routine protocols as well as identify when the routines do not apply in a specific situation and handle exceptions as needed. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and other business software applications is required. AutoCAD proficiency is required.

Valid driver's license and good driving record is required.
